Service terms
A summary of the studio’s existing service terms. Your signed proposal or service agreement controls the terms for your project.

This page is a plain-language summary of how DS Technology & Design, LLC handles services. It does not replace the written proposal, statement of work, or service agreement for your project. If those documents differ from this page, the signed documents control.
Scope of services
The studio offers websites and digital work, event photography, video and photo editing, brand and graphic design, and separately scoped ongoing services. Whatever you hire me for, the specific deliverables, the schedule and the price live in your written proposal. Work outside the agreed scope is discussed and priced before it starts, never after.
Quotes and estimates
Before work begins you receive a written scope with the price, the timeline, the deliverables, the revision allowance, and any third party costs that apply. A quote holds for 30 days unless it says otherwise.
Website project payments
The payment examples below apply to website builds. Payment terms for photography, editing and design projects are set out in their signed agreements.
A typical build uses milestone payments: a 50% deposit to reserve the schedule, 25% at design approval on Standard and Signature builds, and the balance at launch. A care plan begins the month of launch. The written proposal controls the exact schedule. The deposit is generally nonrefundable because it reserves production time that is then not available to anyone else.
Revisions
Each proposal names the number of revision rounds included. A round is one consolidated set of changes, gathered and sent back together. Additional rounds are billed at the rate agreed in writing and are always agreed in writing first.
What you supply
You supply the existing text, images, logos and authorized account access needed for the project, except materials the studio is engaged to create. By supplying material, you confirm that you have the right to use it. Additional copywriting, photography or licensed material is priced before it is added to the work.
Ownership and handover
After full and final payment, you own the final custom design and the deliverables made specifically for your project. I keep my own general know-how, methods and reusable tools. If you ever leave, you take your files, your domain and your accounts with you, and I hand them over cleanly.
Hosting and care plans
A Wix Build can live in an account you own and edit, with care optional. A Managed Custom site is hand-coded, hosted and edited for you through an active care plan. Your proposal states the exact hosting arrangement and the recurring cost.
Care plan cancellation
Care plans run month to month unless your agreement says otherwise. Either party may cancel with the notice stated in the agreement, typically 15 days before the next billing date. The current paid month is not refunded, and unused edit time does not roll over. Cancelling required care on a Managed Custom site means arranging replacement hosting and support, and that transition work is scoped and discussed before any migration happens.
Social media services
Social plans are billed monthly with a three month minimum term. Ad spend, paid tools, and major work outside the selected plan are separate. Content review windows and approval rules are set in the signed agreement.
Paid ads and ad spend
Ad management is billed monthly with a three month minimum. Your ad spend is paid by you straight to Meta, Google or whichever platform is running the campaign, using your own payment method on your own account. It never passes through DS Technology & Design. Platform results depend on auction conditions and audience behavior, so campaign performance is reported honestly and never guaranteed.
Local listings and reviews
Listing work is done inside your accounts on Google, Yelp, Apple and Bing, and those accounts stay in your name. Verification steps such as a postcard or a phone call are controlled by the platform, and their timing is out of my hands. Review responses are drafted to your rules, and no review is ever bought, faked, or removed on request.
Print and marketing materials
Print design fees cover the agreed design work. Printing, shipping and any material costs are billed separately at cost, and you approve a proof before anything goes to press. Once a job is at the printer, changes are a new job.
Secure payments
Online payments are processed by Stripe. Card information is entered on Stripe's own secure pages and is never stored on this website. A payment link is sent once fit, scope, and the applicable agreement are confirmed.
Limits
I do the work carefully, but I cannot promise a particular ranking, follower count, sales figure or campaign result. Third party platforms and services have their own terms and their own outages. Except where the law says otherwise, liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the work the claim is about.
Governing law
These terms and any agreement built on them are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware.
Cancellation and refunds
The project-payment and care-plan cancellation provisions above describe the existing deposit and paid-month rules. The signed proposal or service agreement controls the cancellation and refund terms for your project, including any separately scoped editing or design work.
