Wix Build ownership: You hold the Wix account, domain, content, and final approved design. You can edit or move forward without a care plan.
Managed Custom ownership: You own the final paid deliverables. We host and edit the live site while the care plan is active; any later transition is agreed and scoped in writing.

Hosting & domain
Wix hosting and domain
For a Wix Build, choose whether Wix bills your account directly or we manage the account and renewals for you. Managed Custom hosting is different: it is included in the required care plan below. Either route uses your own custom domain.

Wix plans run about $17 to $39/mo billed annually depending on the features you need; your domain is free the first year, then about $21/year to renew. Fully custom-coded sites include hosting in their care plan.

Plans begin the month you launch. Required on Managed Custom builds, optional (but recommended) on Wix Builds.

How payment works

Deposit to start
50% up front secures your spot on the schedule. Work begins once it clears.

Design approval
On Standard & Signature builds, 25% is due when you approve the design in a live preview.

Balance at launch
The remaining balance is due when your site goes live on your domain.

Monthly care starts the month you launch. It's separate from the build, and required on custom sites.

Understanding your pricing
What's the difference between Wix Build and Managed Custom?
The only real difference is who edits the site after it's live. A Wix Build is made in Wix, so you get the login and change text, photos, and hours yourself. A Managed Custom site is hand-coded just for you; it looks and loads better, and we make every change for you through a care plan. Two levels of control and budget, same care from us either way.
Why do custom sites come with a monthly care plan?
A hand-coded site has no "edit" button or dashboard behind it; there's nothing for you to log into. So when you need to change your hours, swap a photo, or fix a typo, we're the ones who do it. The care plan isn't a fee tacked on. It's how your edits actually get made, and it covers hosting, backups, and keeping the site secure.
What if a monthly fee doesn't fit our budget?
Then a Wix Build is the right fit. You own it, you edit it yourself, and the care plan is completely optional. We'd rather put you on the option you can comfortably carry than sell you something with strings attached.
Do we have to pay everything up front?
No. You pay a deposit (50%) to get on the schedule, and the rest comes in steps as the project moves, with the final balance due when your site goes live. You're never paying for finished work before you've seen it.
When does the monthly care plan start?
Not until your site launches. The project price covers everything through launch; the care plan picks up the month you go live. You're never paying a build payment and a monthly fee at the same time.
How do hosting and the domain work?
A Wix Build lives in your Wix account, with Wix billing you directly for its annual plan and domain. A Managed Custom site is hand-coded and hosted for you through the required monthly care plan. Either way, the domain remains yours and the exact recurring costs are written into your proposal.
Can we move our site elsewhere later?
Yes. After final payment, you own the custom design and final deliverables created for your project. If you later leave managed hosting, any transition work is explained and scoped before migration; your signed agreement controls the exact handoff.
